Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the FieldSlip mobile application ("App") operated by Paiper Apps ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or via email. Your continued use of the App after any modifications indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Description of Service

FieldSlip is a voice-to-task dispatch application designed for small businesses and field service teams. The App allows users to:

• Create tasks using voice input powered by AI transcription
• Build custom task templates with flexible fields
• Assign tasks to team members
• Track task status in real-time
• Collaborate through task comments
• Manage team members and roles

3. Account Registration and Responsibilities

3.1 Account Creation

To use FieldSlip, you must create an account using Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach

4. Subscription Terms and Billing

4.1 Free and Paid Plans

FieldSlip offers both free and paid subscription plans:

4.2 Payment Processing

Subscriptions are processed through:

• iOS: Apple App Store via In-App Purchase
• Android: Google Play Store via In-App Purchase

All payments are subject to the terms and conditions of the respective app store.

4.3 Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

4.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through:

• iOS: Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions > FieldSlip
• Android: Google Play Store > Menu > Subscriptions > FieldSlip

Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to premium features until then.

4.5 Refunds

Refund requests must be directed to Apple or Google, as they process all payments. We do not have the ability to issue refunds directly. Please refer to their respective refund policies:

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to use FieldSlip to:

• Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
• Transmit harmful, offensive, or illegal content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
• Use automated scripts or bots to access the App
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App
• Use the App for any purpose other than its intended business task management function
• Share your account credentials with unauthorized persons
• Create tasks containing illegal, harmful, or abusive content

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Our Intellectual Property

The FieldSlip App, including all content, features, and functionality (including but not limited to software, text, displays, images, video, and audio, and the design, selection, and arrangement thereof), is owned by Paiper Apps and protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

6.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of any content you create using FieldSlip, including task data, templates, and comments ("User Content"). By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

6.3 Feedback

Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide about FieldSlip may be used by us without any obligation to you.

7. Privacy

Your use of FieldSlip is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the App, you consent to our privacy practices.

8. Third-Party Services

FieldSlip integrates with third-party services including:

• Google Firebase (authentication, database, notifications)
• Groq API (voice transcription and AI processing)
• RevenueCat (subscription management)

Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

We do not warrant that:

• The App will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
• The results obtained from using the App will be accurate or reliable
• The AI transcription will be 100% accurate
• Any errors in the App will be corrected

10. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall our total liability to you exceed the amount you paid to us, if any, in the twelve (12) months prior to the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Paiper Apps and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the App or your violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

12.1 Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting your account through the App settings or by contacting us at support@fieldslip.vercel.app.

12.2 Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the App at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice, including if we believe you have violated these Terms.

12.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

• Your right to use the App immediately ceases
• We may delete your account and all associated data within 30 days
• Any pending subscription payments remain due
• Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall first be attempted to be resolved through informal negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

14. General Provisions

14.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Paiper Apps regarding the use of the App.

14.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

14.3 Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.

14.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms without restriction.
